Welcome Blog.
So it begins, the blog of a young British film-maker documenting his progression into the film-making world with frequent updates of his career, education and pure love of film.
That young film-maker is me, Sam Dale, and I look forward to writing this blog and sharing to all it may interest my passion for film. Now let me begin by saying that I am not an expert in film-making, far from it, I am in fact just a student a 17 year old teenager who is eager to learn more. I will share with you my projects of the many short films that I work on as well as letting you into my educational life and of course what career path I decide to take and all the promotions that will ‘hopefully’ come with it.
Blogs shall be posted on this website every time a ‘vlog’ is posted on my YouTube page (samsstation) which will be around once a week. But what might we see in these blogs? Well I always like a to read a blog that is personal to someone and so I will be sharing a lot of my personal happenings as well as some of my personal thoughts, the majority of blogs however will concern film. I might criticize film, I might share something I have learnt, I may inform you of projects I am working on. Basically everything to do with me and film-making will be posted here.
I am aware that some Internet users are not fond readers and for you there are the much more personal ‘vlogs’ which I shall make once a week on my YouTube channel (samsstation.) The videos will give a much more detailed insight into my life and happenings as well as giving you the viewers a visual view of what I am up to in the film-making world.
Media is also a very important thing in my life, I study the subject also and I take great interest in all that surrounds it. Blogs about Media might appear but I would think they will pop up more infrequent than the blogs about film and film-making.
Maybe some of you reading this are not at all film fans and have no interest in film or film-making, well not to worry this blog is also a personal account of me and whats happening in my life, after all that is the main purpose of a blog. If you like to read about other peoples life’s and learning about a different culture and way of doing things then this is also a welcome place for whomever is interested.
For now I will say goodbye and see you soon for the start of the blogs and the ‘vlogs’ which should be coming anytime soon. Thanks for reading.
Sam Dale
